泌尿器科領域における複合パドリン注射液の使用経験

Abstract

1) PADRIN COMPOUND, a combination of Prifinium bromide, a spasmolytic, and Sulpyrin, an analgesic, was intravenously used in 34 patients to relieve pain after urological operations, examinations or treatments as well as pain due to urinary calculi and other urological diseases. Satisfactory results were obtained: markedly effective in 19, effective in 11, slightly effective in 3, and non-effective in only 1. 2) The onset of action was fast: within 15 minutes in most patients. 3) The action was maintained more than 6 hours in 15 patients, and one ampoule was effective enough to relieve pain. 4) Three patients complained of dry mouth, and one patient slight headache. Laboratory examinations showed no unfavourable results due to administration of this drug.
