dc.description.abstract	Carbenicillin has an antibacterial spectrum with a range which is as wide as that of a spectrum of aminobenzyl penicillin, but acts effectively upon Pseudomonas aerginosa and Proteus vulgaris which show no sensitivity to AB-PC. Treatment of 24 cases of urinary tract infection, such as cystitis and pyelonephritis, with Carbenicillin has confirmed the effectiveness of the antibiotic compound.	en
