| dc.description.abstract | Permanent selective sacral nerve block in sacral foramen was reported. The third and the fourth sacral nerves were blocked by 10 % phenol in glycerine injected through the sacral foramen. This procedure is applied to neurogenic bladder dysfunction, especially to automatic bladder. Permanent and satisfactory results, converting automatic bladder to autonomic bladder, were obtained. Anatomical bases of this procedure, innervation of sacral nerves to the bladder, depth of the sacral foramen and relation between the sacral foramen and the presacral nerve plexes were studied on autopsy materials. | en |
