急性白血病の経過中に両側性白血病性睾丸腫瘤形成をみた1例

Abstract

A 12-year-01d boy with acute lymphatic leukemia developed a mass in the right testicle during the course of the disease. Right orchiectomy proved leukemic infiltration of the testis. Postoperatively, leukemia itself became aggravated, the left testicle being also involved, and the patient expiered in three months. Usually, leukemic infiltration of the testis is seen bilaterally; and orchiectomy should be avoided even in the remission period because of the presence of the leukemic lesions in the other organs. Only biopsy followed by radiation and/or potent antileukemic chemotherapy is thought to be adequate.
