| 抄録: | The rate of passage of calculi down the ureter by oral & parenteral administration of furosemide (Profemine) was studied in 29 cases (30 ureteral stones). For 26 stones Profemine 80 mg/day was administered orally for 6 to 49 days continuously. Four stones were treated with Profemine 40 mg/day administered parenterally for 10 to 12 days. Nine stones were discharged spontaneously, 6 stones were found to have moved down to the lower end of the ureters. In 9 cases, no stone movement was recognized. No serious side effect was recognized in all cases. Conceivable side effects were one case of anorexia and thirst respectively. |
