dc.description.abstract1. Twenty-four patients with complicated urinary tract infection were treated with disodium sulbenicillin (Lilacillin) which is a new synthetic penicillin. 2. The patients consisted of 11pyelonephritis, 8cystitis, 2prostatitis, 2epididymitis and 1 operative wound infection after nephrectomy. 3. Five patients showed excellent response, eleven good, 4 fair and 4 no response, Effectiveness rate was thus 67 %. 4. No side effect was encountered.en
