転移性尿管癌の3例

Abstract

Three cases of metastatic ureteral tumor were reported. Case 1: A 71-year-old man was admitted on November 16, 1973 with a chief complaint of gross hematuria of 2 weeks duration. Retrograde pyelograms showed the characteristic filling defect of a neoplasm in the left lower ureter. Cystoscopy revealed a red bean sized papillary tumor on the right lateral wall. Left nephroureterectomy, left adrenalectomy and partial cystectomy were performed. The final diagnosis was ureteral and adrenal metastases from renal adenocarcinoma and transitional cell carcinoma (grade 1) of the bladder. Case 2: A 67-year-old man was admitted on August 9, 1973 complaining of hematuria and pollakisuria of 8 months duration. IVP showed bilateral non-visualizing kidneys and cystoscopy could not be done because of increased resistance of the posterior urethra. The blood urea nitrogen was 110 mg per cent and the creatinine was 14.8. Bilateral nephrostomy was performed. The final diagnosis was ureteral metastasis from mucinous forming adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Case 3: A 52-year-old woman treated with radical operation for carcinoma of the cervix at another hospital in 1966, was admitted on April 4, 1973 with a chief complaint of hem ateuia of 2 weeks duration. Retrograde pyelograms revealed the stricture of the right upper ureter. Right ureteroanastomosis and nephrostomy were performed. The final diagnosis was ureteral metastasis from epidermoid carcinoma of the cervix. Review of literatures and some discussion on metastatic ureteral tumor were done.
