原発性膀胱横紋筋肉腫の1例

Abstract

A case of rhabdomyosarcoma of the urinary bladder was reported. The patient was a 2-year-old girl and admitted to our clinic with the complaint of pollakisuria and constipation. Typical globular or grape-like filling defects in the lower half of the bladder were demonstrated by cystogram. The patient showed a gradual decrease in daily output of urine concomitant with increase in azotemia. Total cystectomy and bilateral ureterocutaneostomy were performed. Histopathological findings were primary rhabdomyosarcoma of the bladder. Postoperatively, 6, 000 rads of X-ray was irradiated, and vincristine and actinomycin D were combined as chemotherapy. The patient is still in good health. 27 cases of rhabdomyosarcoma of the bladder from Japanese literature were summarized and discussions were made on its treatment.
