前立腺手術におけるTrasylolの局所的応用

Abstract

1) Hemostatic effort was attempted with Trasylol packing during prostatectomy. The packing was made over the prostatic bed for 35 operations done in 1973. 2) Blood loss during surgery in this Trasylol-treated group was 343 ml in average which was less than 458 ml of the control group. 3) In the Trasylol group, removal of the balloon catheter and the suprapubic systostomy tube were made possible earlier than the control group. Indwelling period of the balloon catheter was particularly made short in the Trasylol group approximately to half of the control group. This helped much to lessen the postoperative urinary tract infection. 4) Disappearance of postoperative gross hematuria was observed on the 5.2th day in the Trasylol and on the 9.1th day in the control group. 5) No side effect was observed.
