| 抄録: | BACTURCULT is a sterile disposable plastic tube coated on the inner surface with a special nutrient indicator-culture medium. It provides a visible bacterial count for detection of clinically significant bacteriuria quantitatively, and a presumptive identification of causative organism by color change. Studies with BACTURCUL T have been carried out in 111 fresh urine specimens from 103 patients of urinary tract infection. Evalution of urines with BUCTURCUL T compared to the standard plate technique showed that the correlation for clinically significant counts was 88.3% and 63.9% for presumptive bacterial identification. |
