急性副甲状腺機能亢進症 - 特異な術前経過と,術後推移について -

Abstract

In urological field primary hyperparathyroidism is an important disease because of its association with frequent incidence of urolithiasis. However, acute hyperparathyroidism is uncommon and reported only 110 cases in English literatures until 1971 comparing with many primary hyperparathyroidism reported. In therapy, only emergency surgical procedure will be indicated for survival of the patient, otherwise 100% will be in failure even if temporary effects might be able to be obtained in conservative procedures such as hemodialysis, phosphate infusion etc., We presented a case of acute hyperparathyroidism which was characterized as follows: long duration since onset, removal of parathyroid adenoma in reoperation, partial cystic degeneration of parathyroid adenoma, gradually decreased serum Ca and marked improvement of postoperative renal function. Discussion was made briefly.
