膀胱外反症の1例

Abstract

Exstrophy of the bladder is the congenital malformation of the lower urinary tract, which is relatively frequent in Europe and the U.S.A. However, in Japan only 58 cases (excluding cloacal exstrophy) have been so far reported in total. The management of this condition is regarded as considerably difficult. Of late, we conducted the rectal bladder operation combined with intrasphincteric perineal colostomy to a boy of 2 year and 2 month old who had exstrophy of the bladder. As the result, urinary stasis improved and no electrolyte disturbance was observed. The daily life has become much comfortable. This report gives the detail description of this case, and at the same time makes a brief review on the age, sex, classification and the treatment of exstrophy of the bladder reported in Japan.
