| 抄録: | Polyglycolic acid (PGA) suture was used in plastic operations of the urogenital tract. There was no inconvenience with it, being sufficiently strong and not slippery when wet. Its handling characteritics are very alike to silk suture. There were no complications attributable to the suture. On cystoscopic examination of a patient, in which a tumor resection was done through cystotomy, a stone like incrustation was observed on the suture 17 days after the intervention, though it was not found on the 33rd day. On x-ray examination any calculus formation was not verified. |
