神経因性膀胱に対するムスカルムの使用経験

Abstract

Muscalm is said to exhibit a function as muscle relaxant through its action upon the spinal cord and the upper center mostly by polysynaptic reflex. The drug was therefore applied to the dysuric state because of its action as a striated muscle relaxant. Fifteen patients with fixed spinal cord injury, cervical 4, thoracic 9 and lumbar 2 were administered 6 to 9 tablets of Muscalm for 14 to 95 days. Subjective as well as, objective findings of dysuria and cystometry were checked before and after administration. The results were as follows: excellent effect was observed in 3 (20.0 %), good effect in 9 (60.0 %), fairly good in 2 (13.3 %), and no effect in 1 (6.6 %). The effectiveness rate was then 80 %. No side effect was recognized in any case.
