女子尿道憩室の5例および旁尿道嚢腫の1例 -発生成因の一考察-

Abstract

Five cases of the urethral diverticulum and one of the periurethral cyst in the female were reported which had been found for only one year and a half. These diseases had to be kept in mind, when we examined the patients with symptoms of chronic or recurring urethrocystitis. The age of patients ranged from 21 to 36, and they were all unipara or bipara. In one case, one of gynecologists in our hospital had not pointed out the diverticulum during pregnancy, but at postpartum examination it was discovered. It was reasonable to assume that delivery caused the formation of the urethral diverticulum of the female. In another case, the diverticulum disappeared spontaneously. This rare case was not found in 111 cases reported in Japan.
