子宮頚癌術後の神経因性膀胱に対する前立腺抽出物の効果について

Abstract

Robaveron, the extract of the swine prostate, was administered to the patients with neurogenic dysfunction of the urinary bladder after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer. The drug is known to have an action of elevating vesical detrusor tonus; therefore its therapeutic use for neurogenic bladder is suggested. Our cases of neurogenic bladder were divided into two groups. The group I consisted of the cases which passed 4 weeks to one year postoperatively and the group II those more than one year. Robaveron was intramuscularly injected one ampule everyday for three weeks. Improvement of subjective symptoms and decrease of residual urine as well as residual urine ratio were observed as the result of administration. Effective intravesical pressure also increased as much as 18.1 mmHg. These improvements were particularly remarkable in the group I. No side reaction was observed. It was concluded that administration of Robaveron to the patients with neurogenic bladder dysfunction after radical hysterectomy is quite significant.
