Flavoxate hydrochlorideのラット膀胱におよぼす効果:経口投与による効果について

Abstract

Continuous cystometric recording through a balloon catheter was carried out on rat and changes after administration of AK-123 (f1avoxate hydrochloride) were studied. 1) Intragastric administration of AK-123 less than 62.5mg/kg showed no effect on the voiding contraction of the bladder. 2) Intragastric administration of AK-123, 125 to 250mg/kg, exerted inhibition on the voiding contraction starting 45 minutes and reaching the maximum level 60 to 75 minutes after the administration. The vesical contraction returned to the original level in 120 to 180 minutes. 3) Intragastric administration of AK-123 more than 500 mg/kg inhibited the vesical contraction and lowered the blood pressure remarkably. Both the veisical function and blood pressure did not return to the original level and the experimental animals got deteriorated.
