同一腎に共存した腎嚢胞と腎細胞癌の1例

Abstract

A 40-year-old man was admitted with the complaint of gross hematuria. A diagnosis was made preoperatively by the right selective renal angiography. The lower half of the extirpated kidney presented a yellowish tumor and two cysts filled with a clear yellow fluid which were seen distal to the tumor. The tumor was a renal cell carcinoma (clear cell type) histologically. This case was considered Gibson's item 4 (origin of a cyst distal to a tumor). The coexistence of renal cyst and tumor is rare and preoperative diagnosis is difficult. The incidence, classification and diagnosis were briefly discussed.
