| 抄録: | A case of Sipple's syndrome is presented in this paper. A 35-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with chief complaint of dyspnea and cloudy consciousness. Endocrine examination such as urinary catecholamine and thyrocalcitonin suggested pheochromocytoma and medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). Abdominal aortography revealed bilateral adrenal pheochromocytoma. Bilateral adrenalectomy was performed before total thyroidectomy. Histo-pathological findings showed pheochromocytoma and MTC. MTC was found in both lobes. Familial study disclosed two patients with MTC, an uncle and her niece. 25 cases of the Sipple's syndrome in Japan were reviewed and discussed. |
