dc.description.abstractTwo cases of torsion of the spermatic cord occurring in early infancy are reported herein. One was 4-day-old newbron baby. Edema and hyperemia developed on the left half of the scrotum during the 2nd day of life. The testicle was removed 2 days later. In the other case, 5-month-old infant, the diagnosis of torsion of the right spermatic cord was made about 1 hour later to onset of the disease. The testis was saved by untwisting the cord. The torsion was extravaginal in both of them.en
