進行膀胱癌に対するAdriamycinの選択的動脈内注入療法の検討

Abstract

For the purpose of the radical treatment of the advanced bladder carcinoma, inoperable nine patients were treated by the selective intra-arterial infusion of adriamycin combined with TUR-Bt. Infusion catheter was inserted surgically into the bilateral internal iliac artery. The basic dosage was 10-30 mg/day for 3 days. Three patients received two cycles of the dosage. Of the seven evaluable cases, tumor disappeared histologically in two cases, reduced in four cases when judged from some urological examinations and not reduced in one cases. Side effects of the agent were bone marrow suppression, alopecia, general fatigue, anorexia, fever, mucositis, polyuria and local induration with ulceration in our cases. We thought that selective intra-arterial infusion of the proper dosage of adriamycin was the effective treatment to the advanced carcinoma of the urinary bladder.
