化学療法を併用した膀胱全摘除術の経験

Abstract

Seven cases of advanced bladder cancer patients were treated with FT-207 administration preand post operatively as surgical adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical laboratory data and the concentration of FT-207 and 5-FU in serum and tumor tissue were examined in all cases except one who had developed drug eruption. Severe side effect was not observed. The serum concentration of FT-207 and 5-FU begin to decrease in three hours after the intravenous administration of FT-207 (1, 200 mg) and the concentration of FT-207 in bladder cancer tissue decreased slowly, but that of 5-FU in tumor tissue increased with the lapse of time. The theoretical meanings of surgical adjuvant chemotherapy for bladder cancer are discussed briefly.
