進行膀胱癌に対する療法

Abstract

Three modalities of chemotherapy for advanced carcinoma of the bladder were presented with their clinical results. 1) FT-207 associated with radiation was applied for the cases in which further surgical treatment was aimed. FT-207 might act as a sensitizer to radiation thus reducing the total radiation dosis. The hazard at the surgery due to previous radiation might be lessened. 2) MFC therapy gave no clear cut clinical result. On this treatment, the side effects were enhanced. 3) Adriamicin was the most potent agent as a single agent. The cumulation toxicity, however, is remarkable. Further investigation must be done in order to localize the distribution of the drug preferably by means of adsorption by tissue.
