先天性腎動静脈瘻(A-V malformation)の3例 -特に保存的治療について-

Abstract

We herein report three cases of congenital renal arteriovenous fistulas treated by different ways to preserve kidney function. The first case was treated with bed rest and medication, the second case by super selective transcatheter embolization of feeding arteries with Oxycel and the third case by partial nephrectomy. Cases of congenital renal arteriovenous fistulas from Japanese literatures being reviewed, the principle for the treatment was discussed and the therapeutic program was proposed. In the case where the medical conservative treatments were not effective, the transcatheter embolization with a super selective technique should be applied as a treatment of choice. When this artificial embolization was not technically feasible, ligation of feeding arteries of A-V malformation or partial nephrectomy should be considered, before nephrectomy is indicated.
