dc.description.abstractHerein reported is a case of nonfunctioning adrenocortical carcinoma in a 51-year-old house wife. A plain film and excretory urograms showed a round mass above the right nephrogram. Endocrine studies were within normal limit. Aortograms and selective renal arteriograms showed a relatively hypervascular adrenal tumor on the right side. The tumor, measuring 8.5×6.0×3.0 cm, & weighing 214 g was removed through a right subcostal transperitoneal incision. Histological diagnosis was compatible with adrenal cortical carcinoma. At present, the patient has no evidence of metastasis 1 year and 8 months postoperatively. The 68 cases including our case, compiled from the Japanese literature, were reviewed and some discussion was done.en
