両腎摘除ラットにおける胸管リンパ液中ABPCおよびCEZ濃度

Abstract

It was studied if there were any differences between concentrations of arninobenzylpenicillin (ABPC) in serum and thoracic duct lymph as representative of interstitial fluid and between concentrations of cefazolin (CEZ) as well. Forty-two male rats of Wistar strain, weighing 300 to 350 g, were divided into seven groups consisting of six rats each. Blood and thoracic duct lymph were collected 3, 6, 24 hours after the rats all under-went removal of both kidneys and eighteen rats each received an intramuscular injection of 40 mg/kg of body weight of either of ABPC or CEZ. One group served for control receiving an intramuscular injection of normal saline. Collection of the thoracic duct lymph was carried out by the method of Bollman et al. Concentrations of ABPC and CEZ were measured by a disc-agar plate method. There were no significant differences between mean concentrations of ABPC in serum and in thoracic duct lymph at any of 3-, 6-, and 24-hour levels. Neither were there between mean concentrations of CEZ.
