サンゴ状結石に合併した腎細胞癌の1例

Abstract

A 58-year old man with complaint of the left flank pain was diagnosed as having renal staghorn calculus. Nephrectomy was performed and renal parenchymal tumor was incidentally found after operation. The pathologic diagnosis of a clear cell renal carcinoma was obtained. 5 years after surgery, the patient is still in good health. Twenty-nine cases of renal cell carcinoma associated with urinary calculi were reported in Japan. More attention should be paid in preoperative examination and diagnosis of the patients of the cancer age with the upper urinary calculi.
