膀胱腫瘍に対する局所注入療法(第1報) -抗癌剤(Adriamycin)の効果について-

Abstract

Seven preoperative patients who had bladder carcinoma were submitted to local injection therapy. Using a 26 gauge needle, I to 5 mg of adriamycin (ADM) was injected into the stalk and/or body of the tumor under an endoscopic procedure. After ADM injection, an observation is followed up periodically. Tumor disappeared in two cases (excellent effective), arrest of tumor progression and/or degeneration of a tumor was proved in two (effective), partial degradation of a tumor in one (slightly effective), and no effect in two. The effectiveness of the therapy was dependent on the size of a tumor, but tended to correlate with the total dose of ADM. As to adversed reactions, no symptom and sign except urethro-cystitis was observed.
