| 抄録: | 300 mg of pivmecillinam was administered 5 to 7 days to 105 complicated urinary tract infection cases. Overall clinical efficacy rate was 43.2% with 'Criteria for Clinical Evaluation in Complicated Urinary Tract Infection' recommended by The Japan Society of Chemotherapy, and 50.5% with doctors, judgement which take the improvement of subjective symptoms into consideration. Pivmecillinam was effective against 59.6% of E. coli isolated and less effective against Pseudomonas, Klebsiella and Serratia. Side-effects were observed in less than 1 % cases. They were mild loss of appetite and nausea. |
