| 抄録: | 150 to 200 mg of pivmecillinam was administered daily in 15 acute simple cystitis cases and its efficacy rate was 100%. In case of chronic complicated urinary tract infection, 300 to 400 mg of pivmecillinam was administered daily to 6 cases and efficacy rate was 44.4%. As the side effect, loss of appetite was observed in one case, which disappeared after discontinuation of the administration. As the result, though the dose of pivmecillinam employed seems to be sufficient in acute simple urinary tract infection cases, the dose should be increased or the combination therapy should be considered in case of chronic complicated urinary tract infection. |
