| 抄録: | During our past 13 years of experience, we have seen 3 cases of bilateral testicular tumors, which account for .5.6% of all the testicular tumors seen during this period. Pathologically the 6 tumors were confirmed to be seminomas, but each tumor was supposed to have developed independently of the other tumor. All of the patients were treated with inguinal orchiectomy, irradiation and chemotherapy, and they are alive free of tumors. The contralateral lesion appeared 3 months, 8 months and 9 years after the first tumor had appeared. A total of 161 cases of bilateral testicular tumors reported in Japan are summarized and studied concerning incidence, age, histology, interval, prognosis and mechanism of the tumorigenesis. |
