同一腎に発生した腎嚢胞と腎腫瘍の1例

Abstract

A 62-year-old man was admitted with the complaint of asymptomatic gross hematuria, Right solitary renal cyst and tumor were diagnosed preoperatively by ultrasonography, computed tomography and selective renal arteriography. Transperitoneal right nephrectomy was performed. The removed kidney was occupied almost entirely by a yellowish tumor. A 7.5×6×5 cm cyst protruded from the anterolateral upper portion of the kidney and was filled with a clear yellow fluid. Histologically, the tumor was diagnosed to be a renal cell carcinoma; a mixed type of clear cell and dark cell. Tumor invasion into the cyst wall was not demonstrated by gross or microscopic examination. The coexistence of renal cyst and tumor is considerably rare. Twenty six cases were collected from the Japanese literature including this, and they are reviewed briefly.
