異常血管に起因する先天性水腎症の5例

Abstract

Five cases of congenital hydronephrosis caused by aberrant vessels are reported. The patients were 3 males and 2 females; four in their twenties and one in his teens. The chief complaints were dull pain or colic in flank or abdomen and macrohematuria. Two of them were operated by Anderson-Hynes' pyeloplasty, one by pyelo-ureteroneostomy, one by resection of the aberrant vein and the remaining one by the simple end to end anastomosis of the ureter. Resection of the stenotic portion of the ureter was simultaneously performed in the first 2 methods, but not in the last two methods. Hydronephrosis disappeared after the operation in 4 cases which were treated by the first 3 methods, but not in the other case. It is presumed from our results that the Anderson-Hynes' pyeloplasty with complete resection of the stenotic portion of the ureter should be recommended in cases of hydronephrosis caused by aberrant vessels.
