| 抄録: | The clinical effect of Prazosin, an alpha blocking agent, was studied in 18 patients with neurogenic bladder dysfunction. The patients consisted of 11 supranuclear and 7 infranuclear type according to the neurological examinations. The daily doses of 0.5-4 mg of Prazosin was given for 1 week to 6 months. The result was as follows: excellent in 8, good in 3 and poor in 7 cases. The overall success rate was 61 % (5 cases in supranuclear type and 6 cases in infranuclear type). A few side effects were noted such as orthostatic hypotension, nausea, diarrhea and urinary frequency. Thus, Prazosin seems to be an effective drug for treatment of neurogenic bladder dysfunction. |
