阿蘇火山中岳第1火口の温度変化と火山活動

Abstract

阿蘇火山中岳第1火口では，1993年から定常観測として阿蘇山測候所により赤外放射温度計を用いて，第1火口の湯だまりおよび南壁の温度測定がなされている。火山研究センターにおいても2003年2月から同様の測定を行っている。その結果，2003年4月頃から，湯だまり温度の上昇がみられ2003年7月10日に約7年ぶりの土砂噴出現象が発生した。温度測定の結果から，火山活動との対応の検証を試みた。

In Naka-dake 1st Crater at Aso Volcano, very hot temperature crater lake has been kept from 1992. Thetemperature was about 60 degrees until summer 2003. From that time, the temperature has been increasing to90 degrees, this temperature is nearly the boiling point, and the hot water level of the lake has been lowerdown about a few ten meters. Furthermore, at the south wall of 1st Crater, the incandescent field, itstemperature has been about over 500 degrees, has been appeared from November 2000. This temperature hasvaried according to the volcanic activity.
