dc.description.abstractThe Typhoon 0314 passed over the Miyakojima in Okinawa Prefecture on September 1, 2003. Thepeak gust reached up to 74.1ms-1 and the lowest sea surface pressure recorded 912.0hPa. Field research ofthe damage caused by this typhoon was carried out and the meteorological data was collected. The preliminaryresult are reported in this paper.en
