| dc.description.abstract | This paper examines the activity and situation of the performers, especially those of Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts(TIPA), who represent the traditional culture of Tibet. To do so, I consider the global effectsover Tibetan refugee society in India. As social change happened, different preferences appeared among the performers recently, for instance, preference for migration to the U.S.A This struggling situation eventually forced TIPA performers to replace their educational system with the present one. This paper focuses on the predicament of TIPA which they have to face in this global age. | en |
