<食>の差異が，差異の表象を生むまで : ユダヤ教の食事規定に着目して

Abstract

本論文では，食の差異から，差異の表象が生み出されるプロセスを考察する。いま，「差異の表象」が指示するものは，とくに人種についてである。異なる食習慣は，しばしば異なる<人間>の表象を生み出し，それらは知らずして差別と結びつきやすい。そうした過程を考えるうえで，ここでは，おもにユダヤ人の特異な食事の規定を題材とし，それが反ユダヤ主義とどのように接続されていたかについて焦点を当てる。反ユダヤ主義は，古代から現代まで連綿と続く人種主義のひとつの典型である。これらの考察を通して，根拠のない表象が，なぜわれわれにリアリティをもってしまうのか，ということを考える糸口としたい。

This article examines the process in which the representation of difference is generated through differences in food. What is the "representation of difference"? This paper investigates the case of Jewish dietary laws and examines how they are connected to anti- Semitism, Anti- Semitism is a typical form of racism, which has continued from ancient times to today. Through this analysis, I will consider the reasons why such unreasonable and baseless representations continue to maintain their power over us.
