淸代の琉球漂流民送還體制について : 乾隆二十五年の山陽西表船の漂着事例を中心に

Abstract

The shipwrecked Ryukyu refugee repatriation system of the Qing dynasty was fundamentally based on that of the Ming dynasty, and was further developed into a structured national security system. Almost all the provinces along the coast of China encountered the incidences that shipwrecked Ryukyu refugees drifted ashore. Among these provinces, Zhe-jiang 浙江 and Fu-jian 福建 received the largest number of Ryukyu refugees; and next to them were Jiang-su 江蘇, Shan-dong 山東 and Guang-dong 廣東. A ship called "Sanyou Iriomote Sen" drifted on to the shore of Guang-clong province in January of the 25 th year of Qian-long 乾隆. Among the records documenting the accommodation and repatriation system in the Qing dynasty, the ones concerning the "Sanyou Iriomote Sen" are the most detailed. This essay investigates the repatriation and consolation system of Ryukyu refugee under the Qing dynasty by referring to the "Sanyou Iriomote Sen" shipwreck and other cases of consoling drifting ships in the same period. It particularly examines the content of this system and the related administrative documentation and distribution processes during the Qian-long Era.
