| dc.description.abstract | Seven specimens of Kiyohimea aurita Komai and Tokioka, 1940 (Ctenophora, Tentaculata, Cydippida, Kiyohimeidae) were collected at the sea surface in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, as the second record of this species from anywhere in the world. Based on three of the specimens, the morphology is described, and photographs are provided. They are compared with the type specimens collected at the sea surface at Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, in the winter of 1939-1940. | en |
