抄録: | Major faith systems are compared in terms of monotheism, polytheism, and interpretations of afterlife. Reincarnation is interpreted in terms of a material dimension with the concept of DNA vehicles. Faith ethics regarding nature conservation among major religions are compared. The Rio declaration is interpreted in terms of faith ethics. There is no fundamental conflict in principles between the Rio declaration and major faith ethics concerning the environment. It will be necessary to develop the Rio declaration into a new form of global environmental ethics in the future, when environmental scientific society must provide more clear pictures to faith societies that can help sustainable development of Earth. |
