ツインチェーンソーの諸性能について : 使用に伴う振動加速度値の推移

Abstract

振動障害の防止を目的として開発されたツインチェーンソーを実際に伐採現場で使用した場合, 機械としての耐久性と振動加速度値がどのように変化するかをしらべるため, 1984年6月から10月まで岐阜県の石原林材株式会社の伐採現場で広葉樹小中径木の伐倒・玉切り・枝払い作業, スギの間伐作業, ヒノキの伐倒作業等に使用していただき, 使用前・使用後の振動加速度値および使用上の問題点や故障個所について調査した。使用前と使用後の振動加速度の変化は, 常用回転数である7000 - 9000rpmではほとんど見られなかったが, 6000rpm以下では, 前ハンドル上下方向・後ハンドル上下方向と左右方向で増加が見られた。しかし, その値は小さく他の回転数での振動加速度値を超えるものではなかった。また, この期間での使用による防振ゴムの劣化による振動加速度値の変化ははっきりしなかった。使用中に, いくつかの故障が発生したが機械として致命的なものではなく, 簡単な修理でなおった。今後, 改良型のツインチェーンソーについても同様の試験を続けて行きたい。

Vibration disease caused by a chainsaw is one of occupational diseases, in Japan. In recent years, a new low-vibration chainsaw (two cylinder type chainsaw) was developed by a Japanese manufacturer. We tested the durability of a two cylinder type chainsaw in the site of ISHIHARA Forest at GIFU prefecture from June to October 1984. We measured the vibration of this chainsaw before and after a durability test. The result is that the vibration levels of the second and third measurement were slightly higher than that of the first one in 3000-6000 rpm, but in 7000-9000 rpm the vibration levels did not present clear tendency and the values of acceleration were less than 120 dBs. While this test, this chainsaw caused some troubles, but these troubles were easily dissolved by repairing the chainsaw.
