森林の微地形と土壌堆積腐植の様式 : I. 斜面地形の尾根部と谷部における土壌堆積腐植の様式

Abstract

京都市北部の京都大学芦生演習林内のブナ - ミズナラ林の斜面上部と下部において, 土壌堆積腐植の様式を調べた。斜面地の下部においては, ムル型の土壌堆積腐植, 斜面の上部にはモーダー型の土壌堆積腐植層の発達が認められた。斜面の上部と下部において認められた二つの土壌堆積腐植様式について, その形成過程を土壌断面の微形態観察, 落葉量の推定, 土壌堆積腐植層の量, 落葉の分解速度をもとに考察した。

Decomposition processes and genesis of soil organic layer were studied in a Fagus-Quercus forest in Kyoto, Japan. The soil organic layer showed a mull type in the bottom parts of a forest slope covered with Fagus-Qurcus. In the ridge parts of the slope, a moder type humus accumulation was observed. The decompsotion processes and strucutures of soil organic matters were studied for the two humus types, i. e. mull and moder types. The decomposition processes in the soil organic layers were shown in the attached photographs.
