dc.description.abstract	A goodness-of-fit evaluation for hydrologic frequency models using SLSC (Standard Least Squares Criterion) is widely used in Japan. As the critical value to the SLSC goodness-of-fit evaluation, 0.03 is usually used. However, the critical value is recognized as a variable depending on a sample size of hydrologic data and a hydrologic frequency model. In this study, statistical characteristics of SLSC is examined. Then, based on the analysis, a statistical hypothesis testing is introduced into the SLSC goodness-of-fit evaluation for hydrological frequency analysis models.	en
