抄録: | Nine species of ceboid monkeys and six species of callithricid monkeys were found to inhabit western Pando, Bolivia. The respective distribution ranges and preferences for vegetation type were elucidated. Furthermore, it was determined whether different species of primates actually existed sympatrically or not, when there was overlap in their distribution ranges. The influences which hunting pressures and breakdown of the forest exert on each primate species are discussed. |
