| 抄録: | Large earthquakes with magnitude 6.9 and 6.7 occurred on October and December, 1996 at the central part of Hyuganada Sea, east off Kyushu. In previous reports, crustal movement before and after these earthquakes are examined by using data at Miyazaki Observatory, DPRI, Kyoto Univ. Epicenter distances of these two events from the observatory were 52 km and 19 km, respectively. In this paper, we reexamine the relation between the crustal strain at the Miyazaki observatory and seismicity of Hyuganada region based on recent data. |
