和歌山県白浜町に所在する京都大学瀬戸臨海実験所"北浜"でのシロヘリハンミョウ(ハンミョウ科)の出現動態

Abstract

For two months from middle of June to middle of August, 2016, population dynamics of Cicindela (Callytron) yuasai yuasai Nakane belonging to the Cicindelidae is surveyed by marking method almost every day at “Kitahama” beach of the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory, Kyoto University in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. As a result, a total of 139 individuals appeared. New individuals mostly appeared until on July 20. The longest appearance of an individual is estimated 45 days. In early morning before sunrise no individuals appeared, but in the daytime they appeared continuously. Breeding behaviour was observed only four times, but feeding behaviour was not observed.

2016年6月中旬から8月中旬にかけて，ほぼ毎日，和歌山県白浜町に所在する京都大学瀬戸臨海実験所“北浜”において，海岸性のシロヘリハンミョウ(ハンミョウ科)の出現動態についてマーキング法により調査した．その結果，総数139頭が出現した．新生個体は7月21日以降，ほとんど出現しなくなった．1個体は最長45日間生存すると見積もられた．太陽が昇る前の早朝には本個体の出現はなかったが，日中はずっと見られた．繁殖行動は4度だけみられたが，捕食行動はみられなかった．
