日本統治期における台湾人の移動 --日中戦争前に中国大陸に留学する台湾人を中心に--

Abstract

戦前における台湾人の島外移動を考察する場合, 学生の移動は質と旦の両面から見て重要である, 当時, 労働者層の移動が極めて限定的で数が僅少であったのに対し, 学生は移動者の中で大きな比率を占め, 彼らの中には戦後の台湾社会において重要な役割を果たした人々も見られるからである.本論では, 中国大陸に智学した台湾人に焦点をあて, 従来の研究が「抗日」の側面ばかりを強調してきたのに対し, あらためて留学生の事例を検討して類型化する. これにより, これまで充分に論じられてこなかった全体像と, 移動や就学のための柔軟な行動様式を明らかにする.

Taiwanese students overseas are one of the most important groups from the viewpoint of scale and type for studying Taiwanese migrations before the end of the WWII. The migration of Taiwanese laborers was limited and the number were very few. The proportion of students amonast Taiwanese migrants was very high, moreover, some of the students who had studied in the Mainland China took important roles in post-war Taiwan. This paper focuses on these Taiwanese students who studied in the Mainland China before the end of the WWII. The anti-Japanese side of them has been emphasized by historians, however, the whole picture of them has not been described enough. This paper aims to describe the whole picture of them ; in addition, it discusses their flexible actions for crossing borders and entering school through inspecting and classifying each student's case.
