重要文化財住宅所有者の生活と保存活用に向けての問題点 -奈良市藤岡家住宅を中心とする事例研究-

Abstract

Fujioka Residence is over 250 years old shop-house in Nara-machi designated as an important cultural asset of Japan. The owner has an obligation to preserve their house with expensive materials and historical building techniques. Fujiokas, however, are one of rare families who still live in and use the historical house. The author interviewed Mrs. Fujioka, having observed the house from 2001 to 2011, and found that the real problem was people’s misunderstanding. The author got 280 feedbacks from students who visited the house, and 563 responses from general public. The result of these surveys suggested that social consensus to preserve those houses may be increased by environmental education.
