Most of the challenges that confront us emerge at a different kind of boundary: the one where human and nonhuman system like technical, financial, ecological, or social system can interact (Zolli, 2012). As human and nonhuman systems are coupled, the output of one system influences the other in complex ways. We could, therefore, hardly trace the chain of causality at work. Even a better understanding of the individual systems involved could not help us imagine how information, resources, and humans’ behaviors flow through many complex systems. Because the emerging problems are mostly interrelated and interdependent, they are often referred to as systemic problems (Fritjof Capra and Pier Luigi Luisi, 2015). Although these systemic problems diverse at their edges, they seem to be simple enough at their core. We are, thus, encouraged to realize that even though the details are always different, certain features of the challenges are remarkably consistent. In our time, we have often been asking the same question: what characteristics make a whole system adaptive to change? It is characteristics of Life itself that must be understood for answering such a common question. It is now time to integrate different concepts, models, and theories among diverse disciplines into a single coherent framework. The present interdisciplinary studies will deal with many different multidisciplinary topics, and search for the simple solutions to the challenging problemsen
